On your Core iQ Dashboard, you will see that there is a section with the number of Opportunities that ‘Require Action’. This area is influenced by the Next Action Required for each Opportunity in Core iQ.
If that Opportunity has been assigned to an employee, they will immediately see their number increase as they now have an additional item that requires their action. Required Actions drop off your Dashboard after the number of days of inaction specified by the "Set Communications Past Due After Days" field located in Bank/Credit Union & Core Import setup under the Application Settings tab. The Opportunity will still show that there is a required action for it, but it will no longer show on the dashboard. This will also occur if that Opportunity is marked as Inactive using a requisite status on the Opportunity.
The default setting for "Set Communications Past Due after Days" is 5, but can be adjusted if needed. Adjusting this field will also impact the Past Due metric for communications. The exact time that the item drops from the list of 'Required Actions' is dependent on the date/time noted on the required action and the date/time that the dashboard is being viewed.
