If there are two or more people at an address that you want to address within the greeting of a letter, postcard, or email template, the [Customer_Full_Name] field will not be enough. This field will only merge in the full name of the person in that household that we are queueing the communication for. This means that the other person at that address might not be mentioned by name in the communication.
If you know of one or more instances in which you would like to address, for example, John & Jane Doe, then you will need to individually edit those communications before Processing to change the greeting to include both first names. You can do this right before queueing the communication by clicking through to the Edit Communication area and using the ‘Edit’ tab found on the left side of the screen. After you have changed the greeting, simply approve the item for Processing, and it will be sent with your changes.
