How does Core iQ determine the priority of communication endpoints?

When a user selects the option to ‘Only send 1 per communication endpoint,' Core iQ will filter out additional communications being sent to the same physical address or email address. This feature is a great way to keep from sending multiples of the same postcard or email to a household, especially when you are looking at all relationships in your financial institution. Core iQ will give priority to whatever version of the endpoint it reaches first in the list, and it will use that data for all relevant merge fields. That means that if John and Lucy Smith are both on the report list that was run, and we are sorting that list alphabetically, John Smith will be the one that is used for any [Customer_Name] merge fields. If you want specific people within a household to receive that communication, you would need to either sort the report in a different manner, or manually edit the list to only include the recipients that you want.
