What does it mean to ‘Share Ownership’ of an Opportunity?

When looking at an Opportunity in Core iQ, if you have the authority to Join Opportunities, then you will see two options available on any Opportunity that you are not assigned to. One option is to ‘Share Ownership’ of that Opportunity. When you click this option, Core iQ will make you the Primary Officer, while also turning any other Primary Officers into Additional Officers on that Opportunity. This is best used for situations where you are taking the lead on an Opportunity, but you want to share the actions and requirements with someone else.
