We have temporarily disabled the ability to delete survey templates because we have found the following complications relating to the deletion of these templates:
- Deleting a live template will immediately take the survey offline and all sent invites will contain a dead link to the survey. This will prevent any future responses to that survey; but since the emails have already been sent with a dynamic link, you would be required to resend the survey invitations if you choose to recreate the survey.
- Deleting a template with response data associated with it will immediately remove all of the data associated with that survey, and only that survey, from Core iQ. That means that responses to questions will be completely removed from Core iQ, making them inaccessible from the Survey Outcomes Report.
If you have changes that can just be edited and resaved, we highly recommend making those edits and resaving the survey rather than deleting it.
