How to Configure Your Core iQ Dashboard

Objective:

In this article, we will be talking about how to configure your Core iQ Dashboard by modifying the charts that display there. We will explore the following topics:

  • How to modify your Core iQ Dashboard Preferences
  • Our experiences with which charts are the most useful to certain employees

How to customize your Core iQ Dashboard Preferences

The first thing that we need to discuss is how you might go about modifying your Core iQ Dashboard. In order to have access to these preferences, you need to have the Can Changes Dashboard Preferences setting in your Employee profile toggled to YES. If you do not have this enabled, then a Core iQ Admin will need to turn on this feature for you. However, if you do have this setting enabled, then you should see an option in the Admin menu to Edit My Preferences. This is the area in which you can modify all of the charts and graphs that are displayed on your Core iQ Dashboard.

If you are looking to get a good at-a-glance view for certain items whenever you log into Core iQ, then these charts are perfect. The items that display on a Core iQ user’s Dashboard are initially based on the current Role(s) they have checked in their Employee Listing. Each Role has the most relevant charts enabled by default, and this area allows an employee to further customize those charts.

For each chart on your Dashboard, you will be able to toggle the following items:

  • Chart Data Type (i.e. Core Deposit Adoption, Branch Loan Volume, etc.)
  • Scope (Bank/Region/Branch)
  • Title
  • Display Size
  • Timeline

You can always use the bottom checkbox to Reset to Defaults, which will remove any changes that you have made and will restore the charts to what is loaded by default based on your Role(s). Once you click Save, you will immediately see the changes that you have made to your Core iQ Dashboard.

Which charts are most relevant to different people?

If you are setting up a Dashboard on behalf of an employee, say your Bank President, then knowing which charts to enable is important. While we cannot speak to every situation, we will outline below what chart configurations work best for two different parties at the typical financial institution.
