Over the past month, we have seen an influx of customers asking about Core iQ's ability to upload and track prospect communications. While we do not directly support bulk prospect list uploads and communications, we do have a solution for those that are interested. You can find more information about our immediate solution and future plans within this article.
WHAT WE CHANGED:
- Communication throughput has been improved for electronic mail pieces and is currently being addressed further in the next version of Core iQ. In our testing environment, we saw a 3x increase in the speed at which email communications are being processed by Core iQ. We will continue to work to improve this communication throughput in the coming months to help your emails and print mail leave Core iQ in a more timely manner.
- You will notice that there are a number of new HELOC templates that were recently added to the Core iQ template library. We are working each month to bring you new and updated templates, and this month we are happy to have added over 40 new and updated HELOC offer templates. These include new letters, postcards, and emails, all with ready to use imagery and copy.
- With the newest version of surveys, we have added additional social media options for use on the Thank You page. You now have the choice to link to: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Youtube, Vimeo, Google Play Store, Apple App Store, Android App Store, Snapchat, Pinterest, Google+, and your website. We recommend a maximum of 6 icons on the Thank You page to ensure the layout is consistent across devices. If you are interested in adding or changing any of these links, please reach out to us at support@onovative.com.
- The ‘Offer Pertains to the Following’ field on all Product Offers in Core iQ is now required. This will help ensure that all Product Offer templates have a specific product to track when it comes to conversions.
- The multipage letter builder has been temporarily disabled in Core iQ. If you are interested in sending a multipage letter, we can still do that through Core iQ. However you will need to reach out to us to discuss the layout creation of this custom template.
- Survey templates will now display on the Communication Summary section of the Core iQ Dashboard if they are queued for an employee to approve as New. Surveys will also now display within the Daily Digest email.
- We have added the ability to select more than one Current Status for your customers within reports. This will act as an OR statement, giving you customers of either status.
- The default status for all one-off campaigns coming from reports is now ‘Reviewed and Approved’, meaning that they will go out automatically after a minimum of 30 minutes, by default.
- Items that are queued as New will now have bulk actions that allow employees to bulk Approve and bulk Reassign queued communications.
- Within the Survey Response Report, you will now be able to see whether a survey template is currently Active or Inactive in the Template dropdown.
- When a print mail piece is rejected by our print provider, you will now see more detailed notes surface in Core iQ to better inform you as to why it may have failed. These will display within the Notes area of the Communication Summary and will show up in the error messages when hovering over the yellow Failed Processing warning icon.
- Zip code, phone number, and email inputs now have validation to ensure that proper values are supplied. Some of these fields are now required in cases where communications wouldn't queue if the field was left blank.
- It is now possible to opt customers directly out of 'Survey' templates through the Customer Profile interface.
- Added address field labels to the Opportunity creation screen.
- Various fixes to inconsistencies in the layout and design of Core iQ.
WHAT WE FIXED:
- Questions on surveys that are not required and have no response associated with them, will now display on the Thank You page for survey takers.
- Ratings questions were not able to be marked as Required in the actual survey. These questions should now be able to be marked as either Required or Not Required.
- Grammar corrections and improvements to Standard Questions in the survey question library.
- Surveys now have their own icon in Core iQ, which will display on the template and schedule areas of the platform.
- Surveys were displaying as Notes within the customer profile screen. They now display correctly as surveys.
- Surveys were initially broken for customers with an ampersand in their names. This has been fixed across the board for all customers.
- Our Template Previews were showing up within the Removed by System area of Core iQ. These have been hidden from this metric.
- We noticed that the default font on print pieces was kerning in certain cases, so we have officially switched the default font on all print templates to Calibri.
- Merge fields being used in subject lines were not coming through as merged when issuing a proof. You will now see a correctly merged field in the subject line when sending a proof.
- The Churn & Growth Report was not working for many of our customers. This has been optimized so as not to timeout when being pulled for larger financial institutions.
- The ‘Banker’ within the Survey Response Report has been switched to the Sending rather than Assigned Banker.
- Resolved an issue that could result in communications that Failed Processing in cases where the Print/Electronic alternative was set to Inactive.
- Reports have been standardized to supply the ISO Country Codes to all of our third-party providers.
- We are now leveraging multiple name lines with our third party print provider, meaning that customer names can now be as long as 80 characters. You should no longer see items Fail Processing because the customer name is between 40 and 80 characters.
- Large Postcards (6x11) were not being included within the Postcard count of the Communication Summary area. These are now be included in this number.
- We have corrected an issue that previously would have resulted in error screens when attempting to view customers that had no address on file.
- Bankers with special characters in their names (è, ñ, etc) were seeing communications fail when queued on their behalf. These special characters will no longer block communications from leaving Core iQ when they are included in the Sending Banker's name.
- There was an issue that prevented Admins from enabling the 'Can Edit Templates as Non-Admin' and 'Can Edit Target Audiences as Non-Admin' features for employees.
- In a fringe instance (single, one-off communications), Core iQ would send a malformed or blank email or letter to customers rather than the correctly configured email/print alternative. Core iQ should now handle the email/print alternatives correctly in the case of a single instance communication. If you are using the Edit Communication screen to edit emails before they are Processed, please be aware of the following change: In order to achieve this solution, email/print alternatives will not queue if you make an edit to the initially queued communication.
- Certain email templates were persisting their green ‘editable area’ guidelines after they were queued. This should no longer be the case.
