What do we check when we receive a proof from the Template Builder?
When a customer sends a Proof for Review from the template area of Core iQ, our Template Support team is able to do testing on the following items:
- A check of all related images and links in your email to ensure that each is working correctly and tied to a URL.
- A detailed email layout check in various browsers and software (Outlook, Mail, etc) using a tool called Litmus. This check ensures that your email looks consistent regardless of what device it is pulled up on. This only applies to Onovative installed layouts and designs.
- Check to ensure that no misspelled merge fields are populating within the content.
- For print items, we provide layout and sizing checks to ensure that once your piece is sent to our third-party provider, it will look amazing and will not be cutoff or misaligned.
- Also for print pieces, we will check text spacing and kerning to make sure that your chosen font appears correctly.

We will typically respond to these types of requests between 1-3 business days, unless it's a holiday or there is a period of increased volume. If you plan on sending us more than five templates for review during a given day, we may take longer than usual to respond to all of your requests. So it is best practice to leave time for review before queueing this template in Core iQ.
What is best practice for sending a Proof for Review?
If you are needing any assistance with your templates or would like for us to review your content, it is best practice to send us a Request for Review at least a week before you need to queue the template. This will allow us time to review your template, as well as allow you to make modifications and edits to your template based on our feedback.
