The [Service_Name] merge field is the perfect tool for creating the dynamic messages that many of our customers want to send from Core iQ. This field will merge in the Service Name found for that specific product in your Services & Groupings area in Core iQ. You can find the name of your products here:
This name is completely customizable and the merge field will dynamically add this Service Name in wherever the merge field is used.
The only consideration that you need to make when using this field is ensuring that you are talking to the customer about a specific product. Core iQ can only merge in a single product name for this field. If you are creating a campaign for numerous Safe Deposit Boxes and using a template with the [Service_Name] field, Core iQ will only merge in the name of the product that the customer has in the reports results. If that customer has more than one product of that type, you will either need to create multiple communications for that customer relating to each of those products, or you will need to edit the field after the fact in the Edit Communications screen (once it is queued).
From the Customer Profile, the product is chosen by selecting the small green letter icon next to the product name. This will determine which product name gets merged in using this merge field.
From the Audiences and Schedules area, this product is chosen using the qualifying service groups that you determined in your audience criteria. This is not as predictable when using larger audiences and multiple Service Groups. Therefore we do not recommend automating messages using the [Service_Name] field unless you are fine with the fact that only one Service Name will be merged into the communication, regardless of how many services they have which qualify.
