Some customers notice that after inserting a signature block using the [Banker_Signature] merge field, there is a white background behind the signature which clashes with their letterhead. This typically occurs because the signature file that was uploaded to an employee's profile has a background still attached to it and is therefore not a true PNG image. In order to remove the white background from the image, you will need to use a tool such as Photoshop to manually delete the white areas. You can then upload the PNG image back into Core iQ, and it will be merged into your message without the background attached.
Please be aware that when displaying the signature in the Employee Profile area, we add in a white background to the display of the signature in order to make it easier to see. You will typically only find signatures with white backgrounds when rendering a final PDF of a message before it is sent from Core iQ.
