If you are seeing that images are being blocked in Core iQ communications, just follow these troubleshooting steps in order.
Step #1 - Check the System Diagnostics Utility
Check your System Diagnostics Utility which can be found in the main Core iQ Admin menu. This tool will allow you to run a diagnostics tool that will check all of the Core iQ API endpoints listed in this article. If you see any indications that one or more of these APIs is being blocked, this might be the cause of the issue. Especially if that API is one of the 'cloudinary.com' APIs. This would be something that you will need to reach out to your IT team about. Feel free to send them the above article as a link, or just point them directly to Core iQ's System Diagnostics Utility if they are familiar with the system.
Step #2 - Check your image URLs
If you have run the System Diagnostics Utility and do not see any blocked API endpoints, then you will want to check to see whether you are able to view images within the individual template builder. If the image is not displaying in Template Builder area when viewing it within the Body/Front/Bank tab, then you need to check your image URL to make sure that it is valid. The fastest way to do this is to paste the URL directly into your browser address bar and see if you can view the image. If you cannot, go back to your template Image Library and use the 'Copy URL' function on that image again to replace the URL. When you click Save, this should fix the image path and the item should display in the Desktop Preview area and the builder.
Step #3 - Check your Desktop Preview Area
If you have checked your image URLs and are certain that they are accurate, and are still seeing one or more images that are not displaying, you will want to note exactly where the image is missing within the different template area tabs. Is the image just missing from the Template Builder, but is displaying in the Desktop Preview, Mobile Preview, and Image Library tab? These are the sorts of things that help us narrow down just what the problem might be. Make note of these three areas in particular, as well as whether pasting the URL to the image in your browser yields any positive results. With that information in hand, you can easily open a Support Ticket with us.
Optional Step #4 - Image is only missing in the Template Library or Outbound Communication Status area
In the case that a given image is correctly displaying in the Template Builder, Desktop Preview, and Mobile Preview, but is not displaying only within the Template Library or the Outbound Communication Status area, you will want to follow the steps found in this article.
