If you are bringing Ancillary products into Core iQ and realize that your Start/Open Date for the product is not accurately reflected in our platform, you might not be handing us the correct data. Most of our existing customers realize this when they go to evaluate Product Offer conversions for Ancillary products. While these item are correctly coming into the platform, conversions are not being counted accurately. If you find yourself in this position and would like to fix this data for all future ancillaries, you need to reach out to our Support Team.
At that time, we will start a data project that will fix this issue. After a server session, we will begin marking the new Ancillaries coming into Core iQ with the current date as the Start Date. In the absence of a Start Date, this field will permanently be stamped with that date, since most accounts come into Core iQ the day that they are opened. This solution will just ceasing the previous behavior of stamping an incorrect date and fixing any NEW ancillaries that are added to Core iQ.
Please be aware that we can't effectively address the PAST data without that field coming from your providers. This means that reporting for Ancillaries on anything prior to the effective date of our server session will be inaccurate. This is because we have to stamp the current date as the Start Date for all currently opened Ancillaries at that time. For items opened after that date, reporting will function correctly.
