In certain cases, it might appear as though Core iQ is inflating the total number of conversions that you have for a certain Product Offer. However, this can only occur in a specific instance: if two offers for the same product are sent to a customer/member with overlapping Conversion Windows. Our platform registers a conversion when a customer/member receives a unique Product Offer template and then opens that product within the conversion window. So, if I receive two different templates for the same offer and then open that product, I will count as a conversion for both templates. If you are looking at your total number of conversions across all templates for the month, I would show up twice (once for each offer). However, if you are just viewing the conversions for a particular template, I will only show up once.
This is why it is important to occasionally audit your templates to ensure that your overlap is minimized when it comes to duplicate offers and overlapping conversion windows. You can reset your Conversion Window at any time, and Core iQ will immediately take that new window into effect with all recipients of that offer.
