The main focus of this release is the addition of new custom field types that will be available to all institutions. You are now able to have Onovative map in Custom Fields as either text, numbers, Yes/No, or date fields. This allows for these fields to easily be used on all audiences as criteria for those that qualify on a communication plan. If you have an interest in mapping in a new field using one of these new types (numeric, date, boolean), please reach out to us via a Support Ticket.
WHAT WE CHANGED:
- Added three new custom field types that can be utilized in Core iQ to input custom numeric, date, and Yes/No boolean fields. This will allow users to map in these custom values and add them as user-created audience criteria for qualifying automated messages. We have further plans for 2020 with these fields as well.
- Created unique criteria options for all audiences that will allow for filtering based on the new numeric, boolean, and date fields that were released in this version.
- Updated the Customer/Member profile screen, as well as all account screens to ensure that the new custom fields are displayed in a condensed manner within each view.
- Added an 'In Use' flag to all Custom Fields throughout Core iQ that can be used by Onovative to influence whether any customer/member level fields are available in different dropdowns. We will turn on this dropdown after we map a new custom field for your institution. Unused customer/member custom fields should be hidden from view if not In Use.
- Allowed for a specified format to be set for any of the new custom field types. This means that dates will always come through as mm/dd/yyyy, booleans will always be Yes/No, and numeric fields can be either an integer or a number with up 4 digits past the decimal place.
- Modified the campaign finalization screen to allow for the immediate execution of reports-based campaigns from Core iQ.
- Created ability to duplicate audiences and communication plans within a single institution. This feature will allow you to directly copy a single audience and its connected schedule, carrying over criteria, template connections, and touchpoints. Will not work across institutions, but this is desired behavior for 2020.
- Completely overhauled the My Workplan & History area to allow for easier navigation of communications in Core iQ, as well as show additional actions that can now be achieved in bulk via this screen. This includes the ability to bulk Reattempt, Restore, and Reassign items that were previously only available as individual actions.
- We have added additional tracking and notes to all communications to show if/when they are subject to a number of actions including reattempts, resubmits, removals, reassignments, and many others.
- Added a new Favorite Reports tab and feature to the Reports area of Core iQ. This will automatically favorite any report that a user has visited 5 or more times in 2020, and can be configured in any manner you choose to create a custom default list of reports. It will also work using the Impersonate User feature for Admins, allowing you to create a custom list of Favorite Reports on behalf of any users in Core iQ if you are an Admin.
- Unified the date picker options and interface on the Outbound Communication Status area so that you have a consistent experience between this screen and the Outcomes Dashboards.
- Changed the default date range for the My Workplan & History area to TODAY.
- The number of items that have Recently Failed Processing is now tied to the entire Bank for all Admins in Core iQ, just like the number of items that are Pending Approval. It will continue to be tied to only the Banker for all non-Admins.
- Changed what statuses are shown in the Outbound Communication Status area so that Removed is now Removed by Employee and Removed by System is now correctly shown. The prior status of Rejected by Admin is no longer present in the system.
- Changing wording throughout Core iQ within the Opportunities module so that it correctly shows that the Primary Officer is the one assigned to communications if desired. Previously said 'Assigned Banker'.
- Provided all customers with a new BETA report that will allow you to pull back customers/members that have one or more exclusions (core-level or local) for use in auditing who is blocked from receiving certain communications. It is called the BETA Exclusion Audit Report and is found in the Custom Reports area.
- Added a Total # of Products option to the Audience builder, which will allow you to qualify audiences based on the number of products that the customer has.
- We now have a new Campaign Finalization screen which should more easily reflect the number potential and successfully queued communications from any campaign. It will also specifically call out any errors if the campaign fails to queue.
- Created a new Bank & Core Import Setup setting that controls whether Opportunities are automatically deleted for deceased customers/members. It is set to PERSIST these Opportunities by default, but this setting can be changed by a Core iQ Admin.
- Added three new areas to the System Diagnostics area to display local server metrics and relevant information relating to your Core iQ instance.
- Added a new warning for users who are utilizing Account custom fields to assist you in better understanding how these are currently evaluated in Core iQ when attempting to find those who qualify for an audience.
- Removed the two prior timeframes from the dashboard Communication Status area as they were displaying incorrect information to users.
- There is now a toggle on all audiences which can allow a user to include Loan customers in the audience that are marked as non-serviced or participation loans if the user wants to do so. They are regularly blocked from automation without enabling this toggle.
- The [Survey_Invitation_Url] merge field can now be used as the path for an image, which will allow our customers to now link images or buttons to the dynamic survey invitation link.
- Removed the 'Record an Opportunity' button from the profile of all deceased/dissolved customers.
- Several basic user interface changes to improve consistency and user experience.
WHAT WE FIXED:
- The [Banker_Photo] merge field was not working correctly in emails prior to this release. We have not only fixed this issue with all email templates moving forward, but we have also added a [Banker_Photo_Unconstrained] merge field which can be used to add in an unconstrained photo into an email. This unconstrained image can then be further formatted by a designer via HTML/CSS.
- We are now removing all invalid characters from image files names by default when they are uploaded. This should eliminate issues where users are unable to upload images because the file name has a random character that Core iQ cannot parse.
- Blocked the option for Schedule Effective Date to be set to the current date or anything prior to that. This is because this option only works for future dates since automation is queued at the time of your daily import.
- Changed the timeframe for communications to stay on the dashboard Communication Summary to a running 30 days. This means that New/Past Due items will continue to stay on employee dashboards for up to 30 days.
- Using an ampersand in the global search would break the ability to complete that search. This should no longer be the case with the ampersand and certain other special characters.
- Fixed a bug in the non-customer screen that could keep certain users from saving new contact information or list associations for certain non-customers uploaded via the List Upload module.
- The counts on the Possible Open Matches area were sometimes incorrect when the person currently being viewed was included in the search results.
- Fixed a bug in the Change of Relationship report where leaving the 'Customer is Currently Active Within These Groups' option as blank would not result in the expected list of customers/members.
- For those using Firefox, the editable area of letters are now correctly placed within the Template editor.
- We will now allow for the state field on all non-customers to be input as either a two letter abbreviation, or a full spelling in all caps or with the first letter capitalized (eg. KY, Kentucky, KENTUCKY).
- Patched a bug where the top portion of the Opportunities screen could break if certain items were chosen in the Set List Criteria area.
- The download feature on the Products Per Address report is no longer broken.
- The hash symbol will now be added by default to all color choices in the template builder if you forget to input one when picking a custom font or background color.
- Template-level restrictions and cross-sell max attempts are no longer influenced by any communication that has Failed Processing for a customer in the past.
- The Interest Rate field should no longer be missing from any Loan account view.
- Fixed a bug in the Growth & Churn report that kept the Service Group and Specific Service options from working as expected.
- Unassigned Branches will now shows as 'Unassigned' rather than ().
- A number of new merge fields should be available for use in survey questions and choices. The only custom fields that will not work in these areas are custom TEMPLATE merge fields (found at the very bottom of the Merge Fields tab)
- Nested Employees within the Supervisor dropdown within the Employees & Users area are now correctly colored as white.
- Further fixed a bug where Core iQ was showing 'No History' on a communication that Failed Processing because of a missing email address.
- All five Service Type options should now be available for use in the Service Type filter within the Audience builder.
- Patched an issue with the Opportunities input screen where a misconfigured Opportunities module could cause the user to not be able to input any new data.
- One or more institutions saw that the List Uploads module was adding in a random quotation mark into their uploaded file. This has been patched.
- Various typo fixes from prior releases.
