When looking at print items within Core iQ, we recommend only utilizing two of our font options, Calibri or Cambria. This is because many of the other font options that are available may not render correctly once they are placed onto a print page. Fonts like Arial and Georgia will experience kerning, which is the typography issue in which letters are not spaced correctly. You will end up with a letter or postcard that has oddly spaced characters, creating 'scrunched' words.
If you are wanting to use a custom font, however, you may create a custom postcard face or letter using whatever font you would like. This item would need to be created outside Core iQ and then turned into two, front and back JPG images (300dpi/RGB color profile) which will be uploaded to the template’s respective background images. This will create a static letter or postcard face which will not be able to be edited inside Core iQ. If using this option, you will not be able to utilize Core iQ merge fields within this print piece. However, if you are not planning on using any merge fields, this will allow you to use any font you choose for your letter or postcard.
